1" Wall Mounted, Slope (Lean-To) Awning Kits (10' x 10/20/30/40')

Cowboy Canopy Kits include the FITTINGS only. The electrical conduit poles are NOT included. The main framework poles (EMT- Electrical Metallic Tubing) are sold in standardized 10' lengths at any major hardware store. This Kit uses 1" EMT conduit.

1" Canopy Fittings pair with 1" EMT conduit.

 (Actual Fitting Inside Diameter 1.255" (+/- .02")

Cowboy Canopy Fittings are premium Canopy Fittings. All Fittings have eye bolts, which allow for assembly without using tools. Our Fittings are made of strong, 15-Gauge galvanized steel. The galvanized steel is rust resistant and long-lasting. The welded joints are solid and capable of maintaining integrity under stress. Even the eye bolts have 360 welds (no tack welds). Cowboy Canopy Fittings will provide you with decades of use.

1" Wall Mounted, Slope (Lean-To) Awning Kits come complete with all Roof Fittings and Wall Mounting Hangers to build a Wall Mounted, Slope Awning.  Slope Awning Roof Fittings have a 102 degree angle with a roof pitch of 2.5" of rise per foot of run. Custom Options include: Size, Foot Pads, and Side Wall Fittings. Instructions for assembly are included with all Awning Kits.

Custom Options:

1. Size - Select your desired structure size indicated by roof square foot coverage. This Kit provides Fittings to space your Canopy poles every 10' down the length. 10' Frame Spacing is the industry standard. This economy spacing is ideal if minimal modifications of EMT poles is preferred (EMT come in standardized 10' lengths).

2. Foot Pads - For temporary, semi-permanent and permanent structures, Foot Pads provide stabilization and ground anchor points for your Canopy structure. The base of each Foot Pad Fitting has four pre-drilled holes. One in the center designed for rainwater drainage and three on the perimeter allowing anchor nails or hardware of your choice to secure your structure to the ground.

3. Side Wall Fittings - Add the option of One Side Wall. The Side Wall upgrade not only ties your Canopy structure legs together for added horizontal strength but will also provide an additional option for attachment points to fixate side covers. To purchase additional Side Wall Fittings beyond the standard upgrade options, search for FOL and FOT Canopy Fittings.

Additional Options (Ordered separately - not offered as Canopy Kit Custom Options)

1. Bar Braces - To reinforce corners and peaks if your structure needs added strength, support and stability.

2. FC, Coupler Connectors - To build your Canopy a little taller/wider than 10' (join two EMT conduit pieces together), use FC Connectors, found under “Canopy Fittings."

3. Anchor Nails- It is strongly recommended to anchor your Canopy to the ground.  This can be done in many different ways. The most common is to utilize the pre-drilled holes on each Foot Pad base. All Foot Pads have three holes on the perimeter for this purpose. Anchor Nails can be hammered through these holes and into the ground to anchor your Canopy down.

Wall Mounted, Slope (Lean-To) Awning  is an excellent way to provide protection from sun and rain, especially when unilateral water drainage is desired. Awnings are designed to attach directly to a building and route drainage away from the building it is attached to. This economical design saves money because less Canopy Fittings and EMT poles are needed than when building a stand-alone Canopy structure. However, a Slope Awning is NOT recommended for snow.  The Slope Awning pitch is not steep enough to cause shedding of accumulated snowfall like a High Peak Roof pitch. If you are seeking protection from snow, use a High Peak or A-Frame instead. Slope Awnings are often used as carports, and shade structures for porches/patios. Protective structural coverings to consider are; polycarbonate panels, clear or colored tarps, canvas, vinyl, plastic film sheets, shade cloth, shade nets, chicken wire and corrugated metal, other. *Also sold separately.
